What Do YOU think Love Is?

Hi my fellow bloggers!!!!!
My second Blog topic is about love and relationships. I am a bit of a romantic and think that love is an unexplainable phenomenon, but I am interested to see what everybody else thinks about love. So I made a one of those poll things on my blog page and would be really interested to see what you all think about love. If you are interested please come to my blog page and vote, or comment if you have any different theories about love and I'll try to report and analysis the results later on in the semester.
Thanks guys :)

Here i the link to my comment regarding you poll.

i think love can be defined as something that makes the heart stirr, that can't always be explainable, that makes you feel as though you would and could do anything for that other person. Love helps you to "miss" the bad qualities in your lover and makes you happy just because!

"Love is a constellation of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection or profound oneness" is one "technical" definition given! Sounds good to me!

Hi Josie...
You have chosen a really good topic.. it will be interesting to see what info comes out of it, because love is so inexplicable.

I have so many 'opinions' on love... but mine is from a different perspective.... (not too much of a romantic).

I dont know whether I believe in love at first sight, I think it is something that grows over time gradually as you get to know a person more and more, like unwrapping a present.

Love, to me, is utter committment. Wanting to be with someone as much as you can, doing whatever it is to make them happy... and without them happy- you are unhappy.

In regards to investment... I dont like to perceive love as an economic principle or transaction- but I do believe in some elements of cost and benefit.

It is true, as much as we all dont like to admit it, that we often are attracted to good looking people, wealthy people, people with a high status- and they each bring significant benefits.

Good luck with it... I will be interested to see what others perceive love as...
